This September, Marvel will be releasing five new music-inspired comic variant covers.  They’re taking a slight detour from their popular Hip-Hop Variants with Rock and Roll themed covers. The following are expected to be released in September 2017:

 

Guardians of the Galaxy #9

This cover is based on Nirvana’s “Nevermind” album, and is drawn by Mike Hawthorne & Nathan Fairbairn.

 

Mighty Thor #23

This cover is based on The Clash’s “London Calling” album, and is drawn by Marco Rudy.

 

Inhumans: Once & Future Kings #2

This cover is based on Guns n’ Roses’ “Appetite For Destruction” album, and is drawn by Damion Scott.

 

X-Men: Blue #11

This cover is based on Blondie’s “Parallel Lines” album, and is drawn by Daniel Acuna.

 

X-Men: Gold #11

This cover is based on Queen’s “News of the World” album, and is drawn by Mike Del Mundo.
